Odd catfish

It's true that his lower jaw is cut a little, but he is definitely not bruised from smashing his cranium. I've had a lsn crush his skull on the side of a tank before and there was a definite break poin and no curvature of the skull from it. It broke at a 90 degree angle, and healed completely straight. My tsn that looks almost exactly like that one, had a slight curvature of it's cranium as a 2" baby, with no signs of damage, and as he has grown the curvature has gotten worse and worse. The angle of the photograph pictured here exaggerates the curvature. Look in my catfish bonaza for pics of what it would look like from the side. Another note is that the downward sloping of the cranium in these genetically deformed fish forces their heads down when they swim. The water resistance pushes their heads downward. When mine swims close to the bottom his mouth almost always drags through the gravel, and I would say that is what caused those slight cuts under the madibles of this particular tsn. Hope this clears some things up. I would not claim it was genetic if I hadn't raised one like this myself. It was barely noticable when he was a baby, and it gets worse as they get bigger. Good to have a little debate though keeps everyone's minds open.

well the first one is a tsn genetically deformed and its up for sale in some fish farm here in singapore for $8888 sgd
The second one was found on the internet and the colour was kind of weird.
