odd coloration on female festae tail fin, is this normal?

The bloatch in the middle of the tail fin is a location variation? I have the only one? Shoe me a picture of a festae with a similar shape of dark pigmentation on the tail fin.

I know the parents of this fish. YouTube Marcus mbuna. His festae pair that he had are the parents. They don't show any funking dark region on the tail fins either.

Just trying to make sense of this.

I was not referring to the eye spot, I inferred you were suggesting a dark tint in the caudal fin.
The eye spot can change drastically as an individual to individual trait, much like finger prints

i am not referring to the eye spot. The dark tint triangular shape in the dead center of the fin is what i am referring too. Never have I seen this, which is concerning to me.

To me it looks as if the fin has been split and now has knitted back together again. If so in time the colour will come back in time .

The fin was never split. no fish with this solo festae.

One thing I do notice now looking carefully at the fin. Right near the base of the fin is a small spot. seems a little raised possibly, whitish with round around it. maybe there is a parasite here? maybe some damage to the fin ray which is infected due to bacteria?

what could cause white/redish small bump near the base of the caudal fin, its inline with the discoloration of the fin as well which leads me to believe it is related.
