This guy came in a batch of WC 114s. Anyone knows what happen to this guy? Could not be fighting in the group as I tried very hard to look for scars but could not find any.

From what I notice this pc is quite stable, start to fight for food with the rest of the guys just after a day in the tank

If it was wild caught it's just an unusual aberrant colouration, and they do crop up now and then. I've only seen specimens like this from Asian websites and forums which makes me think they are 'runts' from captive breeding.

They have their own name Pseudacanthicus sp. 1

They kinda look like that when they are young. As they age their body gets more of an olive color. Look at the red in its tail.

But what about the spots in the dorsal fin? They seem quite pronounced- more like L114/L600.

(PC has a pick of a younger L24 that does have some spots on the dorsal: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/image.php?species=pseudacanthicus+sp(l024)&image_id=1215

Maybe it's the angle of the PC pic, but this pic makes the eye look more like L25 than L24).
