I have kept quilback. They are a very peaceful species and are hard to feed. I was able to get them to eat an algae based flake food. Also they do not do well with aggressive species.Such as bass and sunfish. Bass will attack them ripping off scales until they are dead.

I have also kept brook silversides and sticklebacks. Both are seldom kept.

How about devil's hole blue pupfish for rare? Unfortunately they are facing extinction.
Would they ever be able to be kept in aquaria and bred?

Mr. Catfish do you have any photos of the one you had??? they are a very graceful and beautiful looking fish, i see so many as juvies swimming around with other young minnows.

I have also kept Sticklebacks but i find them to be very nippy if kept with anything other then sticklebacks.

I'll have to look through my pics to see if I have one. Yeah sticklebacks are nippy. I had them in a 10 gallon tank by themselves.
