oddball natives? check this out....

caught this blue perch last year. not sure what causes the odd coloration, but I've heard of a blue pickeral being caught also. weird. anyone else get any oddballs?

It's missing its yellow. Awesome! No, I have nothing odd in my native fishes unless you count eye and tail deformity.

Would that perch be Axanthic? Unable to produce yellow?

I think melanistic gars and bowfin are somewhat common.

Never caught anything weird myself though.

it is not as rare as people make it, in some lake you can get several odd colorations
