Odessea canister filters

I wonder how well these filters work considering the price

Does anyone have any firsthand experience with them. I would like to invest in a couple to add to my new 265 setup.

I have the 700&500,so far so good. It has alot of mix reviews so i have a fx5 running too in case of I failure, my friends 500 had it power supply cord short out and you can't get replacement parts. We have tried with supplier. I would stay away from there heaters, bought two lasted 3months tops.

i've used ebay filters in the past, not this one in particular but similar.
if your gentle with them they can last. its a gamble though, theres not much quality control on these things

I have the cfs700 and it runs flawlessly on my 220. I've not had one problem with it.

we got a lfs that sell those for around the same price. its real strong and durable. keeps water clean. get one

wrong side of the pond but...

if you can find it for sale through a ebay store (with good rating) you've pretty much got nout to lose

I have that filter and do not like it at all. The lid leaked. I got another. It leaked and one hose nipples broke off the lid.The output is garbage too. I have a Sun Sun's and love them all. 3 years without a problem!

Fx5 have one on my 220 an I just ordered a 2nd one off Amazon!
