Check out the breaking guide in the Payara captive care guide..... That might have some usefull info.

I would highly recommend feeders though until they get a decent size..... When they are stil growing, developing bones and whatnot it's very important to feed them the stuff they are gonna need to grow properly.... A simple food like worms or krill may not provide all that stuff....

Like I said, one of DB's armatus can whoop your whole collection. You keep posting nonsense here and there and how you think your collection is bad arse. had my odoe for 3 year years and sold him last week due to closing my tank down the most awesome fish i've ever owned.had him from a 3" baby and he was approx 13" when he went to his new owner.

there's something special about raising a fish from the beginning...

what was your experience with growth rate. Mine appear to have stopped growing at the 8-9 inch mark but eat like pigs.
