Anyways, personally, I wouldn't buy another odoe because I want other fish in the tank too. I had a 6-7" one and it ate my 4-5" ATF. I was pissed. The adoe only had one eye but that didn't stop it from being aggressive. It chased my silver aros (they'd get rips in their fins, then heal, then ripped again) around and bullied my barracuda. I wouldn't mix it with top or middle swimmers. It left bottom dwellers and poly's alone though.
An lfs, in Brea, SoCal had one at about 13" with like 2 large oscars about 10-11" and a big Ciclid about 10-11". The odoe was on one side of the tank and the other 3 were huddled on the other side of the tank and you can tell they were beat up. Torn fins, missing scales, bite marks that were fresh or healing,.......... just really beat up. That's my input, true monsters man, be careful
