damn I'm dumb....I always forget Ichiban is right down the road from me since they don't actually have a store....they are great to deal with! I'm emailing them right now! I just checked with what I consider the best LFS in the area and they told me no odoes just yellow tail cudas...I was done with the convo right there haha.

The odoes came in! super stoked, they got a mean set of teeth on them haha. Came in at roughly 3", may need to set up a little grow out tank for them as I put them in my poly/loach tank and they are definitely the odd men out in there size-wise haha. They are doing alright, I've seen 1 eat already at least. I didn't want to bomb them with photos and lights yet so pics will come when they've settled a little more.

Oh no for me at the moment. But lve to have them. Here its a seasonal product and not many lfs carry these even in the season. Given there is far as well in my tank, the last batch of " oh no" were too small to be safe.stupid title I know
Whats up guys, just curious about Odoe pikes, been researching and it seems general size in aquaria isn't known/discussed much...what are the chances I could keep a small odoe in a 150 gallon for at least a year or so? This goes hand in hand with my ray's for a 310 gallon tank thread because by next year my 310 will be freed up and ready for a small ray or two (did my due diligence in species choice, so no I wont be stuffing a motoro in the tank) and I'd like to get an odoe growing before the tank is ready. I just wanted someone who has kept them for a while to chime in on general growth rate/size.

ya I've seen them for sale all the time here, just never pulled the trigger, but it was time as a 310 African/sa setup is right around the corner.
