Pretty darn close I'd say. I had him folded in a 12" net when I put him into the tank. He is a beast. I hope you can keep yours alive to get this big! Not many this size.

I know it thats my reason for going for one. I may buy a couple actually and get them pretty big then possibly sell them off and keep the one I like the best.

whats a good strong diet for them?

What I love the most is the tail sag that Odo's get as well as Istlanum. I just love watching my 10"-11" male Istlanum after he stops swimming the tail just sinks so cool.

Right now it's just NLS Jumbo fish formula, and Mysis shrimp. My Odo's tail is as large as my 7" Red Terror LOL. He's not too picky with food either, he'll eat just about anything.

Be careful with tankmates though, mine just snapped today, I turned up the heat and added some salt because he cut himself open on a piece of wood and is pestering everything but the Dovii.
