so I am looking for a overflow box for my 240 gallon I just got and I found this.

To good to be true???

At 1400 gph shouldn't that be good enough for tank around 400 gallons?

I can not find the company's website either. Whats the deal with these guys? I'm on a budget but I don't want to buy crap... Please give me some input guys!
 
yup they have a stock ware house near me and they sell this "generic" brand. I recently used like 400$ at their store they have REALLY CHEAP set ups at great prices.......i also picked up a generic "fx5" filter with built in uv seterilzer lol......
 
but have you bought any of their products? Or new anybody that has?
 
yea i used 400$ there a few days ago lmao....the glass are very thick and clean....the reason i think it's so cheap cause everything is made in china and in bulks.....
 
buy as far as pumps or filters made buy them are they holding up? how long have you had them running? I have heard of the lights they made catching on fire!!!

pumps work just fine. The filters looks good at a good price but haven't set them up yet. Also the lights they make now are a lot better they fixed the lights in 2004 i think:popcorn:

I purchased this over flow box from ebay. first time it was sent w 1 x 1.5in bulk head had to send it back. Works well but not quite as well as good as my other one(dont know the make). the intake Seems to get overwhelmed by water more than the other one. I think it is due to the design. the portion sitting in the tank is only like 8in in width and 1 in in depth. kind of hard to explain. good for the money but if I were to do it again I would spend an estra 40-60 dollars and get a wider cpr style over flow box. I have two overflows like that on my 265 and they are nearly overwhelmed by my 2 mag 18's. No way 1 would be enough for a well stocked tank of monsters. Good luck
