Odyssea CFS canister filter problems

This is my new Canister filter that i just got today.My problem is that the elbow outlet pipe does not connect to the pump

It's broke. Looks like it snap off some how? Did you buy this new?

Yes it is Brand new.I just tested to if it would work but it does respond so.I think i am gonna return it. and a new one again

if you don't wanna hassle with taking it back then you can probably go to the local hardware store and get a 90 elbow with threads on one side. then put a hose clamp around the vinyl tubing so water wont leak out of it. that should work for you just fine.

Do it right, take it back and get another one. I'd check the other one before I left the store.

is it only the broken elbow you have an issue with?

yeah it does not connect to the internal pump
