Wow duanes so your finally living the dream :)
The view looks awesome man , I bet theres plenty to do to keep your mind of water changes :D I'm sure with your experience you'll have some sort of tank or container set up for fish soon enough , and with all the filtration systems you've set up in the past a diy filter will be simple for you.
Best of luck finding the species your after I'm sure you'll find them and much much more once you go on the hunt , looking forward to update pics on your new life and exploring it'll keep us lot smiling on crappy days at work (like today:()

Sounds like some incredible fishing grounds. Your dog is probably having all kinds of new experiences too.

so ts, i'm new to the party, but you really moved from WI to reside in central America permanantly?

man, that's awesome. are you retired? kids all off to college or moved out of the nest?

i'm looking forward to some awesome random pics

Its true I have retired from WI to Panama permanently, and yep, less than 1 year for the last kid in college to go, the other finished up back in May.
My real camera hasn't arrived yet, but I expect it in a couple weeks, it left with other stuff from WI a couple weeks ago, and has to go thru the Panama canal to end up here, just outside the southern end of the canal.
The ships waiting to get into the southern end, all seem to get backed up, just outside my front yard.
