i'm a lions fan and i don't hide it either and we both know i've got plenty of reasons to hide it. how's that for macho? As for disappointing weekends, i'm disappointed as soon as the pre season ends every year.

i'd go with the a win is a win attitude when it comes to the playoff race or a post season win....not the 2nd week of the season after a game is gifted to you.

Not having a horse in the race, i probably enjoy the NFL season more then i would if i had to live and die with my team every weekend so my weekends are actually quite enjoyable.

You'd be a lying ass if you claim that you wouldn't be ecstatic with joy if your Lions went into Minnesota this weekend and beat the Vikings, no matter how they did it.

Excited they won yes. Would i jump on someone's case for pointing out that favre caughed it up 4 times and we only scored one TD? no

lol, come man, there's good and bads to take away from each game. The good, the wildcats won. The bad, they didn't take minnesota's best shot and they only scored one TD. no one needs to be painted in bad light for pointing them out

And you're absolutely right, i'm happy that my lions are showing some chop and not being blown out.
 
GMAFB you make a dig by pointing out the fins only scored 7 "O" points and now your crying someones jumping your case about it. Cry me a river :duh: Can't talk trash without eating some? Then maybe best to keep your mouth shut.

You want good, the Fins are 2-0 winning two road games that they should've lost, what more needs to be taken?
 
Only 1 playoff team is 2-0 from last year, two if Saints win. I would not take too much into account on 2 weeks. We know so far that a lot of teams are 1-1 and have a better shot at going to the superbowl than most of the 2-0 teams. Not just the colts.
 
I have Drew and Reggie playing for my fantasy team tonight. I'm behind by 19 points, in my matchup. I think between the 2 of them, they should score 20 points and squeeze out a fantasy victory for me.

i thought this was the NFL thread for 2010. hahaha, you're funny. Bash the lions? Go ahead. nobody's hurt about that. i just don't get the emotional reaction toward me about calling out that miami SHOULD have beat buffalo and were gifted a TD by favre and still barely won.

you're taking me way too personal if i'm getting under your skin by pointing out that they only scored one offensive td and barely won. How low are your expectations if you honestly expected miami to lose to buffalo anyways. i'm glad your enthusiatic about your team's start though. Anyways, enjoy the monday night game.
