maybe the jets d is very good but baltimores d has always been a good run stopping team but they lost there cornerbacks a couple years ago and there secondary is suspect. alot of teams have been able to throw the ball against them last year and the year before. sanchez cant do anything. flaco i have watched since he came into the league and is very inconsistent. some games he can look like he knows exactly what hes doing and some games he looks like a rookie. thats how im basing there final records. ya man i like the steelers so you know i like defense. i just think there offenses will keep them out of the playoffs or wild card at best. oh you said its this style that wins championships. thats not true. good defenses you do need but you also need a very good quarterback the last mediocre to sub par qb to win a championship was trent dilfer along time ago with the ravens i do believe.

I pencil the jets in to have the same crappy season they had last year but without teams laying down to let them in at the end....because of their offense as you mentioned. Sanchez is not an NFL QB this year, maybe he'll grow into it.

I can see baltimore going deep as they're built on the old school steelers principal....Tough D and time control with a running game, plus a revamped recieving corp where Flacco doesn't need to make the perfect throw anymore. Oh well, should be fun. GL surviving with dixon
 
ya i know. its going to take alot of luck because i thought dixon looked awful and i thought charlie batch should be starting for the steelers. hopefully they can come out 2-2 by the time ben gets back.
 
chargers vs chiefs now. whenever 2 teams go at it and i dont prefer one over the other i go with the underdog. so its kc and there winning 14-7
 
I felt the Packers played well although Michael Vick may stir up a QB controversy over in philly.

he did look pretty damn good...never liked Kolb anyway. Dumbasses should have kept Garcia and got rid of McNabb years ago. LeSean McCoy is one of my favorite players and he looked very good also.
 
K.C.'s D-fence looked outstanding compared to years past. I think that Romeo and Charlie along with Haley are really going to turn my team around this year.

Next round is finally here w00t w00t. Here's the match ups i'm looking forward to in order of excitement level for me.

1. Detriot vs Philly. Who has 2 thumbs and wants to see the return of micheal vick? This guy right here

2. jets vs patriots. Revis vs The slouch, Loudmouth rex vs lord voltamort aka belicheck, overcocky jets vs i just got my swag back pats. Personally, i'd put revis on welker and cromartie on ross. Welker is the bread and butter of that tom brady attack when they're rolling.

3. Colts vs Giants. good ol manning bowl. No way the colts start the season 0 and 2 right?

4. Steelers vs Titans. Battle of the hair. Chris Johnson's hair vs Troy Pomalulu's Hair. Is Vince Young for real? Time to find out agains the steel curtains. Can dennis dixon beat you with his arm? Titans are goin to key in on the run and make him throw it.

5. Minnesota Favres vs Miami Wildcats. Favre looked disinterested to me last week. Didn't have that look of having fun out there that he always has. This week will reveal if it was just a fluke. Who will get more yards, Adrian Peterson or Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams out of the wildcat formation
