Well after watching that game last night, I'd have to say that I see greatness in Chris Paul...he gets all the passes he wants, shots he wants, makes everything happen not even effortlessly he just makes it simple...devote your best defensive player to me or I'm gonna go off for 35 or try and play a zone and he'll go for 25 and 15 assists. And how about the young man being so cool in the face of the supposedly best defensive team in the league.

he is amazing. simple as that. not since the days of michael have i seen a player who can single handedly transform a so-so team into one of such high caliber. i hope he runs the spurs into the ground...two more times ;)

I think he is going to be great as well, but in the mean time, one thing I've noticed about his game, is he tends to "fall off" a little on the road. Now this is no different than most of the NBA players, but for Paul to be counted as one of the all time greats, he needs to improve there. He is already taking strides twords that this year too.

very true, but have you ever seen a player develop as quickly as him? only his 2nd year pro and he is leading his team through the semis into the conference finals!!! he is young, and experience really counts in the playoffs. this guy is the real deal! Now, let's see how a rising star fares against the master...Kobe...:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

Yes that will be the test but kobe won't be matched up on him we will see how he does against the lakers because I see that's how chris paul plays...He plays with a purpose to get the ball to open players where they are comfortable scoring, where they are the best at making their shots, and totally controlling the tempo of the game. And he seems just on a mission and so serious all the time. That is the mark of a true point guard.

I meant what each player will do for his team. They are both like quarterbacks, in that the plays are being built around them. They play different positions, but essentially do the same thing. It will be a great matchup (if they do meet, that is)!

Do you want recently? How about Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Deron Williams, I'd have to think about it a little more though....
