when my team loses, I cheer for my conference ;)

Yeah, I can buy that, I would normally do that, but for one it becomes hard for as a Pistons fan because the last 6 years, if it's not us that's there, it's the team that beats us. And 2, I like Kobe, and as a hoops die-hard, I enjoy his game, and what he has meant to the league, and when it comes down to it, if every player in the league had his heart and "killer instinct" this league would be awesome. So, I cheer for him, because he deserves everything he gets.

What a game, although I am questioning what may of went on in the locker room to allow pierce such a "speedy" return, but it was still a great game and great performance by KG, Allen, and Pierce. After a game like that I beleive they will also take game 2 but it won't be as much of a gap in the 4th from LA.

He really didn't put any weight on it now that I think about it until he got to the locker room. Once he put weight on it he prolly realized nothing was torn and came back in.

Actually he didn't put any weight on it at all he was picked up off the floor, and placed into a wheelchair. Its gotta be scary though getting a injury like that in a Finals game no less, and thinking you've torn your ACL.

I think he's just a wimp. it's just like Dwayne Wade being wheeled off the floor for a seperated shoulder. It really makes the league look bad when guys fall down like they've been shot, and get carried off, then coming running back out to the friggin Rocky theme, 2 minutes later.

LOL- Skip said it was nothing reminiscent of willie reid but more like vince carter LOL! I'm not a fan of Skip, but he can be funny sometimes.

I don't watch those show's anymore. I watch sportscenter, but thats really it. I can't stand to listen to most of those guys, they have to be crazy so they can stay on the air.

Lakers deserved to win this game. They shot 25% in the fourth quarter and still managed to keep it close. Kobe was not on and the bench struggled. I was happy with the preformance of fish and pau though.

Refing was totally unconsistent. At times, the refs would call ticky tack fouls on one side of the court and then let the Celtics rape the Lakers on the other end.

Expect to see Pau continue to play KG in game two, and the big shocker:WHOA:, Kobe play Pierce....

We did a good job on Rondo and turned him into a jump shooter.

Lakers should easily have won if their shots woulda fell in the fourth....

Do I sense sore losing already? :D You could make these same statements for ANY team that loses ANY game. They could have been made for SA, Det, Utah, Cle.....that's the game. If there were obvious calls it would be another story. They lost the game, so therefore, they did not deserve to win it. BTW, every team that's played Boston thus far has turned Rondo into a jump shooter......and Boston would have won the game if their shots had been falling all game.....:screwy:

I agree. Just like he said in the press conference, he thought that was it. It turned, popped, and hurt like hell. Like you said, he was never given the chance to stand on it until in the back. He had to demand that they let him stand on it. This doesn't even come close to Wade's deal. THAT was puss. A wheelchair for his shoulder.......This was legit. If it were Kobe, he would be praised for his "gutsy" return......I've had the same thing happen with my ankle, twisted, popped, and swore it was toast, so I know what it's like. It just took some walking to realize it was only a sprain.
