I don't think Sheed will be here, I'm guessing he'll be in whatever deal Joe Dumars makes. He's a big man, who can score, and has an expiring contract. He's good trade bait.

When the calls don't go Kobe's way, all the sudden it was the refs that won the game for Boston. I'll give you the offensive call was pretty weak, but the holding foul on Allen was pretty obvious to me. I was calling it before they blew the whistle. LA lost because they were shut down. Think about it....

1. Kobe didn't take the ball to the basket until late 3rd.
2. An effect of the above, he shot very few free throws (that's half his game).
3. Odom was shut down--AND HIS FOULS WERE GOOD CALLS. He tackled Rondo and tried to blow through Brown.
4. Gasol started out strong, then they just stopped giving him the ball :screwy:
5. Fisher was nonexistent
6. 3's didn't start dropping for them until the 4th
7. Boston was on....Powe slaughtered them....Allen was hitting....Pierce was on....Rondo had nearly 20 assists- to ONE to......KG was the only one dragging behind.

Need I go on? As said, you're jumping the gun on the refs too soon. WAIT UNTIL LA!! I guarantee you the calls will go the other way, and Boston fans could be giving the same crying excuses. Wether you want to believe it or not, it's part of home court advantage. And to sum it up, LA didn't decide to start playing until the 4th......

I agree 100% plus one you missed, boston has some sick DEFENSE!!

Won't happen. LA wins first 2 in LA, then Boston steals the 3rd. They then finish at home in game 6. ;)

took the words right outa my mouth.... its gonna be hard to beat LA @ home but i think that they can steal the 2nd or 3rd game...then wrap it up @ home !!!

i will call this now, sheed will be playing for the bobcats next year....

I don't think this will happen. I people are spreading this around because of the Sheed and LB connection, but what does Sheed make Charlotte if he goes there? A 8 seed? Maybe 7? To me it doesn't male sense. Sometimes Jordan doesn't always think things all the way through so there is a chance it could happen, but you have LB who never stays anywhere for long, Sheed who's getting old, and really not a whole lot else to help. In 3 years they'd be Sheed-less, LB-less, and $-less. It's one of those things that sounds good on paper, but won't work.

I agree, i am not a big fan of sheed...but him and LB have a great relationship...LB can sell it to Jordan ( who doesnt need a whole lot of convincing, since sheed being a tar heel sounds to be good enough!!!:screwy:

He probably wouldn't need a lot of convincing because he's not very good at his job. But, I think that the Piston's return value will be higher trying to deal him to a team that feels that they are "close". But, Sheed could still be here next year. Somebody is gonna be out of this starting 5, and in this NBA it's easier to replace your 2 or 3, than your 5.

The only problem with making that claim, is that most of the Western conf. would argue that the Lakers got all the calls in the playoffs so far because the league wanted them in the Finals...

read this and tell me refs are crooked. Told ya the ref had big money on Bostom game 2. So obvious they do it all the time. :headbang2
