meh, i don't care about garnett not being suspended. I want him to play. Kidd should have been suspended, although it didn't matter much.
Good luck to the 2 ex-coaches

Yeah, Avery Johnson is already officially fired. I hope Washington can pull this one off in Cleveland. It's funny they keep saying Sangaila punched LaBron, but if you watch the replay, it's just like Sangaila said. LeBron yanked his own arm away, which pulled Sangaila's arm up. LeBron's a puss...."They're trying to hurt me"......:grinno:

is D'Antoni officially gone as well?

Not officially...

I am a siexers fan..so I hope they beat the Piston. They do have a great chance. Plus I have a bet with my friend. If the 6ers lose I will have to do 50 push ups in a public place.

To me this is an unfortunate case of the NBA's favoritism. Anybody who makes any contact with an official gets suspended. Thats the NBA's rule. Not to mention, there were 2 guys who got up off the bench and did step on the court. I know it's not like they punched anybody, but did that stop the NBA from suspending players from PHX last year? NBA inconsistencies really hold this league back.

Well, as a Pistons fan I'll say......better start practicing those push-ups. :grinno:

what did you think of the 2 fouls yesterday in the SA PHX game where the SA guys tripped on their own feet and PHX took the fouls? shameful :(

I think in the off-season the NBA should take a hard look at their "flop" standards. I think they should proactively start trying to get this new fad out of the game. It won't be easy, but I would be in favor of them calling flops as a safety net, even if they are wrong, that way it would really give incentive for guys to not fake the contact.

BTW, I think they should do this in soccer (American soccer anyway) too.

Actually one of them was already standing before the play even stopped, so they were right there. And the official was the one that made contact, Garnett simply tried getting around it. :D They are very inconsistent. Like them deciding in game 4 to start calling lane violations on Shaq. Don't let people do things all year long, then once it really matters, change things. I think it's a ghey call anyway. His foot crossed the line in the air, never touched the ground till it went through.....who cares.

hamato, we make up like 95% of this thread LOL
