DAMN ! As a Life long LAKERS fan I have to honestly say that the Celtics deserved it , and the LAKERS didn't. How can you even get pissed, after the PATHETIC way they played, the Celtics just killed them. I don't know what was more unbearable the SPANKING or Garnetts jibberish victory speeches? I'm being a Hater. :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

What else would you say after a lost? Even if you lost by 2 points. There is still next season...I'm not making no excuses for the Lakers. They got beat. Celtics was the better team. It showed. Lakers will be tighter with Andrew back in the line up. They need a bigger, stronger body in the center...Gasol is too flimsy. The rivalry has started. It will be an exciting show next season.

I have a whole new respect for CELTICS. Playoffs they were like, "whatever". However, come the Finals. Just incredible... they deserve to win this year.

Actually nice to see Pierce & KG win a Championship.
 
Whatever... they stacked the team for a few championship years... any team could have done in, especially in 2010 when the Knicks rebuild for glory.

It's not like the Celtics have good general managers, they've been successful through either free agents or through pure dynasty.

A successful team is able to bounce back from a loss or a win for years. The fact that the Celtecs have not won a single championship for 22 years is disgraceful to both Boston and their fans.

Congratulations none the less, Lakers deserved to lose due to their effort this series.
 
I never expected the Lakers to get this far last summer, Gasol is SOFT, welcome to the playoffs PAO! I will be happy when Bynum comes back and Pao can go back to playing forward. If anything, this is a dream for the League, IMO the Lakers were already the most popular team because of Kobe, now the Celtics get their shine. LA recently celebrated 3 in a row, its been 22 loooooooooooooooong years for a franchise like Boston to go without one. Good job Boston but watch your backs, maybe the LAKERS are hungry again after this whipping ? LET THE NEW RIVALRY BEGIN. LAKERS 2009 !!!!!

there will be no "new rivalry" it will be another 22 years before the c's get back to the finals. Lakers are the future, C's 1 year wonder.:cry::cry:
 
I have to agree with what you guys said; I too am a Lakers fan, but I must agree the celts deserved it more, they played like they wanted it more; they had a more reliable bench squad, the "D" was on point; and also I'm not convinced that the lakers played their hearts out. Yes I agree that the Celtics were the better team; but the Lakers shouldn't have lost like that. Gasol was a hell of a pick up but I think should stay in the forward position. He's good just not strong enough to play the Center. I honestly feel that if Andrew would've played it would have had a completely different turn out.

I'm kinda happy though KG has been one of my fav players and I"m happy him and Ray Allen got theirs; been over due for these cats........

but even after the loss though I gotta say the Lakers got further than I thought considering that they have a young team with no finals experience; besides Kobe and Fish... but they gotta get rid of walton I hate that ******.........

i agree luke's gotta go, he is the equivalent of a human bowling ball, rolling and banging over players, he's got no hops, no quickness, no lateral movement, cant play d, i dont even know why phil uses him..i think if phil played kareem he would have contributed more:nilly:
