So basically, the team is too white, and needs some more color and athleticism....

I would lose radmonovic, keep vujacic, and try to bring in AI

I did not intentionally mean to say that, but unintentionally that is exactly what I am saying. And don't call me racist because I am white...and yes I CAN jump!!!!:headbang2

How the hell do we plan on doing that:confused::nilly:

No way in hell Phil gives up a talent like vujacic and farmar, hell he kept Bynum when he was horrible....and look at how he has emerged as a great center

AI in LA would be a hell of a landing. Don't know how that could happen though.

Haha! Hey, not racist at all, I'm in your same boat. It feels good to be the white guy that will dunk on you if you're not careful. :) That's part of the reason I usually play that joke, cause the underestimating works to my advantage!

Denver seems like it's taking it's team apart. If they're willing to part with camby and melo, why not AI?

I don't know what the hell Denver has going on right now. First thing they need to do is get rid of Karl. He just doesn't seem to know how to control all the egos on that team. If they had someone who could, they could be (with current roster) trouble for the west.

Who could we trade to get AI though.... I guarantee you Phil will not trade Bynum, Kobe, Gasol, and Odom. And there is no way Denver will trade AI for Vujacic, Farmar, Turiaf, and Radmonovic.....

the lakers do not need AI they need help in the frontcourt a post presence and interior defense, how does bringing in AI solve that?!

the lakers need to trade for a swingman type like ron artest, jason maxiel, posey or marion somebody who can help with the boards and defend plus be an occasional scoring threat..

It was not my idea if you read the previous posts... My post was simply hypothetical that even if we wanted him, there would be no way except to give up Odom, Bynum or Gasol, which would never happen.

Fish, Kobe, Vujacic, and Farmar is IMO one of the best frontcourts in the league.

I disagee. With Bynum back we have the boards and the post defense covered. Bynum is also a great scoring threat with the frontcourt dishing out assists...

I will be taking this season's outcome as a grain of salt considering Bynum was missing. If Bynum was in this series, Gasol wouldn't have had to defend KG and Odom wouldn't have had to defend Perkins, and the series would have been COMPLETELY different considering the main reason we lost was soft D and horrible rebounding. Bynum would solve both those issues...

I agree. That is why Gasol will move back to the 4 spot and Andrew in the
5th spot. This arse whipping experience should gain the Laker bench some experience playing in the playoffs & finals.

It will be fun next season. We need no one else but Andrew back in the line up.
