Dude nobody cares.

Regarding Scott Mitchell, far from a Matt Cassell. Mitchell started only 7 games fore the Fins the year before going to Detriot. Not to mention he also was recovering from a knee injury. Didn't do too bad though in the 4 years as starting QB the Lions made the playoffs 3 times and he was also a Probowler one year.

Does nobody care now that you realize that what you think may not be right?

As for the Mitchell thing, I don't know if you know this but, he had this one guy on his team during that time, his name was Barry Sanders, he was a pretty decent runner, he made it a little easier to throw the ball.

Oh and the Lions named Martin Mayhew their new GM today, after a long interviewing process that lasted all of 1 friggin day.
But I better not talk about that because no one cares, so carry on with the Dolphin talk because that appeals to everyone.

The Lions make me not worry too much about my Seahawks lol But jeez is the NFC West looking awfully bad this year. Atleast when the Seahawks were division champs we were somewhat respectable.

Barry Sanders IMO is the greatest runningback of all time. Too bad he retired too early, probably knew where the franchise was going.

Barry Sanders... Barry Sanders... Barry Sanders..

Not only where there were going, but where they were at. They did nothing to make that team great. Barry could almost get you 9-10 wins alone, but since they had him, they slacked everywhere else, thats why he left, because it was never going to get any better for him.

We won the division! Sweet! Fire Brad Childress!

Sorry for being rude:(, it was ment more as sarcasm but was definetly rude.

I agree that Sanders was a great back but as for making it easier for the QB to throw thus improving Mitchell as a QB. This being the case then why was this not the effect on other Lions QBs such as Peete Or Kramer?

As a note Barry Sanders had his best seasons while Mitchell was QB. Maybe Mitchell made Barry a better RB. Possibly it was just that they complimented each other and that was a very powerful offense for a few years.

I can't believe that there is an argument about the Lions. It's like arguing about how smelly a landfill is.
