Ya gotta love the job Chad did this year. The plan worked well they do'nt ask him to do what he can't do. So he is able to be very efficent and low mistakes. Team MVP yes NFL MVP no.
Generally your NFL MVP is not only the MVP of his team but also has some up and above or remarkable season. I think that there was a lack of NFL MVP performances this year( this is the reason Manning wins). Everyone wants to say how this is Mannings best season ever. But he still is playing for the Colts and they actually have a defense in the top third of the league this year. This was no more then an average season for Manning.
I don't know in wins how much Payton was worth to his team this year. I do know that the Falcons would have been nowhere near the team they are this year without Turner. And not to bring up this guy again, but how many games do the Patsies win without Cassell.
You just wont let the Cassell thing go will you!

jk
I agree about Chad, and the team MVP part. I do like Chad a lot, and I'm glad to see him succeeding in Miami, because he had so many issues in NY.
About Peyton, first I agree there wasn't a clear cut winner, but I do believe that Peyton is one of the most valuable players in the league, and he is true difference maker. I think what gets overlooked because he doesn't always make the most spectacular plays, is his ability to manage the game, and how that affects their success.
Their defense is pretty good, but the only time I watched them closely this year was against my Lions, and we actually fared pretty well, but if I'm not mistaken, Sanders didn't play, and that makes a big difference.
The Turner thing is interesting, the problem with him (not his fault) is right now he's too low profile. Most people don't even know who he is. That shouldn't affect it, but it does.
