Oh, I had never heard of it, but I don't have Sirius either...

It's not the greatest of shows, but just happened to catch a part yesterday where they were saying the exact same thing you were talking about. (Which I agree with.)

Whats wrong with Bradford?

Actually I really like Bradford, but with no O line and no defense, it's really a wasted pick. They need to take Andre Smith, and then get a middle linebacker. Bradford is very good, but most QB's don't throw that well from the bench or their back.

To pass up the person who can rebuild your team would be asinine! What QB's are coming out next year? Maybe they could wait for Clausen? But who knows when they will get the #1 pick again..

Remember the debate we had about McCoy and Bradford earlier this year? Neither one has flinched. Two great QB's. I think Tebow should be a running back. No offense, but I have always wanted to see a white guy start, and dominate the RB position.

I wonder who the Seahawks will get. We had a bad year, we still have a great team. Adding a top 5 pick is gonna be scary! Can't wait.

Personally I don't believe that the best way to rebuild your team is by drafting a QB #1 overall. Thats probably due to the fact that this team has tried to do that numerous times and failed, but I think you build from the trenches out.

I understand that, but I think I see greatness in those two.

I'm not sold on Stafford, but I really like Bradford. I just think if you've seen the Lions (and hopefully you haven't), if they had just a mediocre defense, they would have won at least 5 games. Their offense is not nearly as bad as their defense.
Not to mention when you see these teams in the playoffs like ATL, BAL, TEN, MIN, and so on, I think that clearly shows that your team can be good without having to have a MVP QB.
I know Ryan will probably be good, and Flacco too, but if anybody thinks the reason those teams are good (forget Tavaris Jackson and Kerry Collins) because of their QB, your nuts.
Solid defenses, solid line play, solid rush games.

edit: I thought you were talking about Bradford and Stafford (thats who everyone around here is talking about) and I missed the McCoy drop. I'm not sold on him, but he does look a lot better this year, but I would still give Sam the nod over him. I'm just not sure any of these guys are "can't miss" prospects.
