I suggest that Michael Vick didn't just torture animals, he used his multi-million dollar salary to fund a crime syndicate. That is racketeering. That's punishable by life in prison, which would be much closer to appropriate. Also, what other job can you commit a federal felony and do a year in prison, then get your job back? He shouldn't ever be allowed back in the NFL again. Besides, Pennington did a pretty good job last year with not much to work with. That, and he didn't kill a bunch of animals for his own profit and enjoyment.
