I didn't say that Stallworth got a fair sentence either. I said he deserves what he gets. In all honesty he deserves more punishment from the law. Having said that, he didn't create a criminal organization. He made a bad decision. Michael Vick made many bad decisions. Then he lied about it to the owner of his team, the public, and the commisioner of the NFL. No employee of any organization that committed the crimes that Vick did would get his job back. Stallworth, Plaxico Burress and Michael Vick should be banned. Just like Pete Rose.

Stallworth got, 30 days in jail, plus 1,000 hours of community service, 2 years of house arrest, and 8 years probation, and life-time suspension of his driver's license....That is sux. The guy he hit was walking across the freeway. Stallworth, is the person who called police, and, admitted everything he had done on the scene. I hate Stallworth, but he seems honest, and, at least worth his weight in salt. I am willing to bet, most of us have driven home at 7:15 am, the morning after a party.
Pete Rose, bet on games he was the manager of, and lets face it, baseball, has more of an affinity, toward the integrity of the game.
We, are not the judges, we, can only hope to avoid, being judged.
I hope Vick does well, and gets out of debt...All of the work, and effort he put into life, made him the highest paid player, in the history of the NFL. As a fan of the game, I must remain a Vick fan, as his crime was not detrimental to the game of football, in any way. If I saw him in person, I'd kick him in the nuts though....

Go Seahawks.

Vick was detrimental to the game. He parlayed one of the largest contracts in history, plus the endorsements, into organized crime. He's a stain on the game. I'd rather see him get hit crossing the road after a Donte Stallworth party than play in the NFL again. I'm tired of watching the untouchable attitude that pervades among players. It's time to send a message that if you can't behave in a reasonable manner then you won't play again. My employer would expect the same thing.

I think Albert Hayensworth deserves a life ban for what he did, more so than the other *guys (*plaxico had a fire arm in an area that requires a two year prison sentence, he might not ever play again). NFL players get fired for losing weight, my job does not mind. There is no comparison. The ability to physically play at that level is a gift.

I do not get the entirety of your post. The 5 million makes him an even better person, And the Pete rose thing, both; deserves a thread, and was relevant, to a relevant post, all at once.
