gotta call you out on this !
hey! lay off on my lions. i can't believe you boys even watch pre season football. i have NEVER EVER watched a preseason game including this year. they tell you nothing about your team's potentials. i was feinin for football but not enough to watch games that don't matter.
to a baller all games matter.besides in my opinion-this has been a greatly played pre for the most part.some really good games.no offseason apparently increases intensity at camps with more spots to be fought for.soon.................

I found this picture the other day. Do you guys think it's accurate?

Yes, it is clearly accurate because the Broncos have the biggest region. They are the coolest team by far:D

I actually enjoy the preseason. I don't think the games are meaningless. The first team O and D still play their best, and if either side can't produce, I think that is somewhat reflective of what will happen in the regular season.

That being said, I am pretty excited about the Broncos this year. Finally, no more Shanahan/McDaniels sissy ball! This is an exciting year, because they are focusing on enhancing the D and rungame. The pass rush looks sharp with Dumervil and Miller, the running game with Moreno and McGahee looks sharp. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting a playoff season from the Broncos, but I also have viable hopes that they will have a better record than KC and Oakland, so maybe, just maybe, a wildcard spot is in their near future.

sure, if you call using the first 5 pages out of your 300 page playbook "playing their best". i don't think it's reflective of ANYTHING. the lions have been 3-1 and 4-0 in recent years in the preseason INCLUDING THEIR 0-16 season. it means absolutely nothing, especially since the games are only as serious as the coach's make them. The coach of perrenial contenders don't care (pittsburge, new england, baltimore, indy etc etc)

Don't worry, it's not just pre season i hate on. i wouldn't watch buffalo vs cincinatti either cuz it just doesn't matter!

as a lion fan, i'm sick of people hyping them up this year based on preseason. come on now, they have 6 games vs green bay (one of the games against green bay on a 4 game turnaround to play on thanksgiving), chicago and minnesota plus a trip through the NFC south (new orlean, atlanta, tampa plus the weak panthers). the only thing worse would be drawing the AFC north

Best example, the Colts. No sure on exact numbers but over the last 6 years they have lost more preseason games then they have lost regular season games. They are 4-24 or something like that over that span. Preseason is alright, just have to realize what it really is.

great example, i remember hearing something similar every pre season. i'm just a fan of greatness and there's nothing great about watching second and third stringers IMO. i've just got better things to do with my time but you can bet when the regular season starts i'll be watching as many games as i can

When I was typing my post, I was thinking to myself, with exception to the Colts. It is still generally true that if a first team offense or defense does poorly in preseason, it should raise concerns about the regular season. I for one, unlike a lot of you guys, watch a lot of preseason, and I can tell you, those first teamers play at 100 percent.

well, you're right about one thing, you do watch it unlike me hahahaha. oh well, can't wait til the season starts so we can stop talking about pre season.

I just watch the first quarter, then preseason games get boring because of all the backups....
