You know who's predictions have really suprised me? The Browns. I know they're getting better, and even though their my second favorite team, I thought they would probably be around 6-10, while most experts think they'll be 8-8 or better. If Indy looses Manning for the year, then that would be another win you could add to the Browns overall record.

i see the browns improving but i don't see 8-8 yet, don't they have a new coach in a short pre season? they've got some nice players in key positions but the lost their D cordinator has to be a set back right?

yeah I was thinking the same thing about the head coach and the D coordinator, but I guess everyone really likes them, and other than Pittsburgh and Baltimore, their schedule isn't that tough.

when i think of playing baltimore and pittsburge twice a year all i think about is potential injuries. it's like running the gauntlet in the SEC

oh I know, both defenses are just plain nasty. If I was an NFL player, the thought of lining up against James Harrison and Troy Polamalu would scare the crap out of me.

lol, we should all just put spartacus on ignore.

i just got off work, is the manning missing the whole year official or just an unofficial report from an unnamed source?

Still just unofficial, though I guess Kravitz is on of the main reporters there in Indy. I do believe there is an official announcement saying Manning has been pulled from practicing indefinitely

he's officially been pulled out of this game, but I think everything else is just uncomfirmed reports

if it's coming from a mouth out of indy i believe it. fluff. i love watching the colts. i guess the most efficient offense to watch now would be new england's or do we skip them and go straight to Green Bay?

I like watching GB's the most because they have so many passing weapons and Aaron Rodgers is an absolute STUD

Here is the latest from the Colts
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...efutes-radio-report-of-second-manning-surgery

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay shot down a Wednesday radio report that quarterback Peyton Manning had another procedure performed on his neck.

Jake Query, a radio host for WNDE-AM in Indianapolis, tweeted early in the day that Manning would miss the season, adding in another post "I was also told the 3rd procedure has taken place, either Sun or Monday."

That prompted a response from Irsay in the evening.

"Peyton didn't have a medical procedure last sunday,we'll have more info 2 add clarity 2 situation soon," Irsay tweeted.

The Colts announced Wednesday that Manning will miss Sunday's season opener against the Houston Texans as he tries to recover from neck surgery he had in May. That means Manning's streak of 227 consecutive starts will end.
