Didn't Gil Brandt say Newton was the best prospect he had seen,not Luck.I also doubt he is as highly touted as Peyton was.It's so easy to forget when every year there's a new "greatest" player to come out.

this year I said-no accomplishment to win that div-peyton is great and makes them look better,able to make playoffs,not win

ps, i don't think washington is much improved, i still think they'll finish last in that division but all we can do is wait and see. it's not like they weren't competitive last year.

yes they were and are better says the T.O.P.this year-and better players,familiarity w/system,etc..........a little better can mean a lot in the NFL

I fully agree....however when you think about it, a spread QB is likely to have an easier transition to a team like the Colts, Pats, Saints etc due to the style of offense of these teams.

dude,I love your avatar,but I don't get this statement,because that could be said for any division.I think it's more like planning and survival.
Here's one for ya-I've noticed teams seem to magically fall sometimes,like the saints in the playoffs.They couldn't beat the s'awks
or were they saving themselves from further embarrasment.
It's hard to say,ask the people who bet on the saints,but even though the cowboys own the skins at home...
Dont bet on a D-day party.Their hard fought triumph came against a scrub team.They got their #4 d rank against s.f.-no offense,and jets-defensive team.the skins got their #11 d by stopping good offenses.Meanwhile,the eagles & G-men beat each other up,and get more injuries.the pattern so far is health.As usual,a huge factor in the NFL.We'll see who can stay healthy-it matters a whole lot more at the end.

3-0 winners so far are Bills, Packers, and Lions. The 0-3 losers are Dolphins, Chiefs, Colts, Rams, and Vikings.

Packers seem strong while the other two seem more like luck

yeah,those teams suck,but some were good recently.Point being that maybe these 3-0 teams are really good now.The Bills breaking their losing streak to the pats was not an easy feat,and the lions seem to be cooling a little ,but still winning so far.

how are the lions cooling? the bills had to come back from behind 20+ points in their last 2 games and they get kudos while the lions handily win their first 2, then squeaked out a tough one on the road and get squat?
