Is it Tebow time yet?

How 'bout the Redskins dominating the G-men? Kerrigan for rook of the week!

I wanted it to be Tebow time all year. Do I think the Broncos would get a better record if they went with Tebow the whole season than if they went with Orton? No, probably not. But they are a rebuilding team still after McDaniel's destruction. I wanted them to go with Tebow to get him some real world playing time and help develop him. He is at his best in games, not in practice. Orton is just so frustrating in the 2 minute drill and in the redzone! I would rather them play Tebow all year and go 6-10 than play Orton and go 8-8. We wouldn't go to the playoffs either way, and we would see what we can get out of Tebow, and we would see if he is on the right track. Quinn, from what I heard, had a great training camp. He had a good preseason with exception to his horrible performance in the last game against Arizona.

All that said, the Broncos' problems run deeper than just the quarterback situation. They still gave McFadden 150 rushing yards. It felt just like last year. They still had a great chance to win the game though. With turnovers and Janikowski kicking a record tying 63 yard field goal, they still just lost by 3. If you compare that to last year when the Raiders beat the Broncos something like 59 to 14, I guess you could say that is positive progress.

It won't matter who you put in at QB. If Denver's receivers continue to drop as many balls as they did against the Raiders. If Denver can't generate some sort of a productive run game. If Denver's defense can't figure out how to stop the run. You'll be seeing the same controversy next year. Only the chant will be, start Tebow instead of Andrew Luck.

Yeah, run game was freakin sorry too.

Frickin' Brady:irked: Prolly the best player in Footballl right now.

been gone a week but been waiting to say this....didn't henne look good? boy can sling it. looked waaaay better then dirty sanchez

here's a thought guys....did the moons, stars and planets just align for indy? will andrew luck be sitting on the bench behind peyton next year waiting for a legend to hand the torch over to the next great QB ala montana to young? favre to rodgers?

Yes Henne was very impressive, makes ya wonder about last year. Needs some polishing going on close to the goal line, but very excited as to what could be this year.

One a side note, Cleveland Browns at least wont have the worst looking uniforms this week end as I see the Jets are wearing their throw up, oops I mean throwback jerseys. :screwy:
