Speaking of jumping the gun, anyone ever read the article about how the NBA printed out schedules with "Blake Griffin's press conference for winning the Sprite dunk contest" before the contest actually took place?!?

Well anyways i dont think i ever bashed the mavs, and if i did im pretty sure i wasnt putting my hometown team over them. To be honest i was never a true HEAT fan, was just happy they made it to playoffs and have been watching every game since the bulls.

But about LeBron, i feel that he's too much hype atm. He definately needs to control himself and make shots when they count. Just in yesterdays game he missed like 3 3's when he was wide open, and he made many mistakes trying to be slick by passing the ball under nowitzki.

I feel that hes just showing off right now, but hes gotta grow up

Sorry, someone had a very similar avatar last year that was a miami front runner, all excited about them beating buffalo and bragging about how they were better then the patriots and jets.....and then when it all fell apart 3 weeks later pulled the "i don't even like football" card, lmao. kind of how you just pulled the "i just started rooting for them after round 4 of 5" lmao. Guess all miami fans are the same unless they're diehards or football fans. Claim them when they're winning, avoid them like it's ringworm when they're losing. Speaking of ringworm, that's the only ring that lebron will get

did anyone catch the news story that the heats all have team robes and everyone else's size say small, medium, large, lebron's says king size?

i'm happy for the mavs, been a long time coming for kidd too

i can see miami winning a title depending on what the lakers do next

for some reason, i don't feel that mavs will repeat

you know i'm a huge laker fan but i would not place money on them making the championship with a first year coach and new offense. funny how we forget the del harris and rudy t years? i expect them to be competitive but there's alot of up and coming teams in the west and who knows what trades will go down and the impact of a lower salary cap. portland, okc and memphis are up and coming (they made that run without their best player for goodness's sake) as well as the perrenial contenders of la, dallas and s.a. (love 'em or hate 'em, coach pop didn't die). The west is a crazy place. we don't get cupcakes in the playoffs like the lEastern conference

i will need to see how long the lockout lasts and what happens with trades before i can make a prediction for next year. we could have some major players on the move
