If Flynn is better, then why didn't he get the start over a rook? With the best stats, you still think the backup is better. Sounds to me like you got stuck on the fence w/BOC! btw-Wilson had elite stats in college also,so it amazes me how surprised(to be polite) people are that he is good.He was in the big-10,and had to see over the line in college also.Short people have a reason! Now seattle has one.

I look at more than stats, If you read what I posted, I clearly stated that Wilson has a higher upside.. Currently I think Flynn would put up more points.. I think Wilson is getting the start because he will become better than Flynn as he is a way more dynamic player.. So, if Seattle believes he has the potential to be way better than Flynn why wouldn't they start him?? Let him start, build up his confidence and experience and he is having an amazing season while doing so.. I wasn't happy at the beginning of the season when I found out they wasted all the cash on a back up though..

have you been paying attention ?not to be rude ,,,,but wilsons got the highest qb rating in the league since nov.1 ...makes him kinda good ,,huh?

Can you read?? Not to be rude, but I'm pretty sure I stated that in my post.. Highest QBR since week five and 14 tds with only 2 picks.. So yeah, makes him kinda good, huh??

I know what you're saying, and it is a decent point that could be true.I just disagree.I think he was better in pre,and thats why he won.I'm sure it helped him knowing he didn't have to start, taking the pressure off,he ended up gettin it.

...and boc.what I meant was, which you might of figured if you ever thought about what I say is that,if you cut him, they lose all that money, but in a trade they could be compensated. Also not to be overlooked is the importance of having a quality vet.If Russel were to get hurt now,the ship dont sink.how many teams have 2 good qbs?for example, what would the g-men do if eli gets hurt,or the Falcons, and most playoff bound teams.

What you're missing is we are not questioning Flynn's talent but rather that he's the highest paid back up. show me another team where the day 1 starter is paid less then the back up

we've already established that they won't cut him because of the guaranteed money. And precedent has been set on QB trades....a third round pick or lower, that's what they'll get for 20 mil? Could've been used on players that could help them TODAY

that's ridiculous! a 20 million player will get a first rounder and wilson could get injured today.you never know.arizona would do it.maybe oakland, minn,or dallas.teams get desperate when they need a qb.precedent on qb trades-whered you come up with that one?lol:screwy:

mahahahahaha, please show me when in history a back up QB has been traded for a first round pick?

The last 3 QBs trade for first round picks were cutler, bledsoe and trent green. all had a proven track record. you think flynn is at their level at this point in his career to command that kinda trade value?

here's the realistic scenario, seahawks cut him saving themselves 9 million. seahawks wait til the end of next year when he only has one year left on his contract and want to move him before he walks, by then they've paid him most of the contract and a team could just wait and hope they can land him in free agency, if not...they could use their draft picks to select a different QB. in both scenarios, seahawks blew a ton of money that could've been used to help the team today.

only you can't see how huge of a screw up it is when you look at the dollar signs above the name and how it effects the team's financial position. then again, you've witnessed your GM throwing money at piss poor players for years and probably just don't understand
