Look at Pittsburgh, new York giants, new England, Baltimore etc etc. do you see a revolving door at key positions? No, they know what they want, do their homework and find players that fit their mold. Yes they whiff here and there but not at Carole/shannahan rate

none of those teams are rebuilding with new coaches.You talk like all the great players are just sitting there,growing on trees,and they must be stupid if they didn't see that.c'mon

Tomlin was handed a s.b team-Shanny has replaced most of the roster on a depleted aging team.that don't happen overnight

Yeah thats obvious, my point was geared more to the recent Flynn, Kolb, Cassell trend. Large money or pricey draft chioices. Signing a grocery cleck at the league minimum is a totally different thing.

'market value',but 'pay' isn't the issue-it's 'play'.it more like blackjack.You don't know what the next card will bring,but you need another.
I only know one thing for sure.It's going to be a long 2 weeks!!
 
Your approach works in college. You cannot afford to whiff over and over in the pros. You can't afford to waste the money or draft picks. Whitehearst, Jackson, Flynn to get to Wilson? That's batting .250

The franchise I brought up are model franchise because they bat well in the key positions
