Alright here's a liget question. Can someone tell me why the Eagles are a 2.5 point favorite over the Ravens? Seriously, am I missing somthing here? I'm going through my pool picks and this has me scratching my head.

the only thing i pick up from the spread is they're expecting a close game and want you to bid winner, not spread. perhaps they're banking on philly coming in desperate after a close one last week while baltimore been gettin all kinds of dap all week for their offensive performance and won't come in as focused

A close game with Cleveland is nothing compared to playing even an unfocused Baltimore. The fact that it was a close game at all sure scare any Eagles fan.

hmmm, perhaps you should relook at the tape from week 6 last year. the 49ers won on a 4th and 6, down by 4, in the redzone extremely late in the game. alot of luck happen for them to win that game. now you think they're gonna blow them out? hahahaha

I was expecting Baltimore to be giving the Eagles about 7.5 not the Eagles giving 2.5. I'm going with the Ravens. I can't see after Philly having a close call against the Browns comming in favored over the Ravens. The guys in Vegas must know somthing or they're teasing a sucker line get money put down on Philly. IDK.

they've all came out of hiding were I live because of last year and I swear I've everyone I talk to says their going 15 and 1 and blowing out every team they play because their defense is the best in history and Alex smith is now a top 10 qb

This post makes my head hurt. Did I not say sf beat Detroit last year? Pretty sure I said week, score, play. What does 4 years ago have to do with anything? results don't transfer from week to week. Always remember that boys. No such thing as regular season momentum in football

They could I didn't say they would but they could. While I was watching last years NFC Championship game I said the 1st team to make a mistake is goning to win this thing. Well, two stupid misques later and the Giants are going to the show. Either the Giants or the 49ers could have beaten the Pats but the Pats would have done better against the 49ers IMO only because after the Giants won they (the Pats) had to say "No! Not again!" I think it took the wind out of their sales, where they would have been more confident going in against the 49ers. Anyway after that game I said about the 49ers "that's next years NFC Champs" if they improve the O a little and keep the D healthy. We shall see how the team holds up through the season.

sf is good but here's the problem with everyone's 15-1 or 14-2 prediction. It's different being the hunted vs the hunter. They're gonna get people's best shot week after week. Aint gonna sneak up on no one. Plus, it's still Alex smith back there.
