Official 2013-14 college football thread

Even though I cheer for Georgia, I'm not an SEC fan ... I'm a PAC-11 fan (no duck muck allowed in our pond ;) ). But the last seven champions and eight of the last ten have been SEC. Until some one else starts winning the big one, I have to say the SEC is the best because at the end of the day, it's the championship that matters. Are they sometimes over rated as a whole? Sure. But I go by rings, as it were, in my opinion. And that's the thing, you can view 'best' however you want ... conference as a whole, bowl games, championships. And the answer will vary depending on how you choose to look at it.
 
They have won 6 in a .row....I KNOW THAT ,,,,,,because you win a game 6 times in a row makes you good no doubt ...BUT the thought that other conferences aren't as good NOW is a Different argument....Live in the moment ...isn't that what you always preach at me? Well right NOW I think that giving the sec this years crown already is REALLY shortsighted....I will tell you what I told PACKER FANS the year they played the BRONCOS in the S.B.(the NFC had won several sb's ina row..).IT'S COMING soon...the end of the run....and it's probably this year (if the bcs gets the "right"opponent)
 
Oh the Pac11 is climbing for sure ... I just don't think they are as good top to bottom as the SEC ... yet. It's coming. I hope. ;)

You're contradicting yourself though.....in THIS moment they have the undefeated NATIONAL CHAMPION. They should be ranked 5th cuz some dude from Arizona says so? No one has won a title this year. You're upset over rankings though
 
By the way, predicting that something will come to an end just makes you sound like a nut. Everything comes to an end. Sports or not. Everything. Wanna act like you know something , pin point when.

I can do what Lee is doing too. SOON! LEBRON JAMES WONT WIN THE MVP. SOON! THE NL WILL WIN THE ALL STAR GAME! SOME DAY THE CUBS WILL WIN THE WORLD SERIES! SOMEDAY POLE WONT POST FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK! IM TELLING YOU ALL, ITS COMING.
