So the SEC is dominating now because other conferences can't recruit top players? Other "top flight" teams don't "get a chance"? Look at you. Seriously. Listen to what you sound like.

NO ,THE SEC GETS TEAMS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME EVERY YEAR BECAUSE THE POWERS THAT BE ARE MAKING LOTS OF MONEY NOT PUTTING ON A REAL CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFF... FANS AND THE MEDIA ARE STUPID AND THINK THAT COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS THE ONLY SPORT THAT DOESN'T NEED A PLAYOFF.. PUT THE SEC IN THE GAME CAUSE A BUNCH OF HILLBILLIES SHOUT LOUDER AND SPEND MORE MONEY ON BEER AT THE GAME.... THE EQUIVALENT OF THE NCAA "championship" IN ANY OTHER SPORT WOULD BE TO DITCH THE CURRENT PLAYOFF SYSTEM AND TAKE WHATEVER TEAMS .HAS THE NOISIEST FANS THAT WILL TRAVEL TO THE GAME AND SPEND MONEY... CAN you understand that?it's got nothing to do with CURRENT RECRUITING .. if you change the system to allow every conference to have representation.. recruiting will even out on it's own and the SEC won't have a long term artificial advantage ...get it ? or is the concept of everybody has an equal chance to get in a playoff ,even other conferences, a little to complex... do you understand that?

Oh. And looking back at a little college football history, calling the Big-10 a "MAJOR CONFERENCE" strains credibility (not credulity). They just haven't won enough national titles. Penn State's 2 titles before they joined the conference don't count. subtracting those would put the Big-10 just barely above the ACC--which by the way is a much more competitive conference this year. Clemson and FSU are BOTH much better football teams than Ohio State, and neither are undefeated.

Get a clue.
never said ohio st deserved anything... never said clemson or fla st. aren't better.. where did you mis read that?at this point ALABAMA AND FLA ST . SHOULD BE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP .. since the current broken down system is still in effect.. WASN'T RAILING AGAINST THE SEC BUT THE SYSTEM .. WHICH PEPETUATES A CONFERENCE GETTING AN ARTIFICIAL recruiting advantage.. by getting an automatic spot in the championship game to satisfy tv ratings..and where in the WORLD DID YOU COME UP WITH THE WORD..." CREDUILITY"?...IF IT CAME FROM ONE OF MY POSTS IT WAS A TYPO

Big-10 has 12 teams. Big-12 has 10 teams. Neither has won a national championship in recent memory (at LEAST the last 7 years). Baylor hadn't played a nationally ranked opponent until 2 days ago.

Half the SEC could beat Ohio State, or Baylor. Go get a clue.
the sec plays a long list of mcneese states and western kentucky's,,, then beats up on each other ...then gets a bye into the championship game then has the luck to play each other in a championship game.. sure they have won 6 in a row ,,,when you get teams in every year you don't play anybody out of conference till the championship game with the excption of florida and georgia (they actually play a real schedule..LSU SOME YEARS TOO).. when is the last time bama played a non conference road game west of the mississippi.. not in you lifetime is the answer,,,,the sec ducks non conference road games like the plauge.. and rely's on myth and reputation to get into a game that they sometimes don't deserve to be in,,, ALABAMA happens to be a fine team and as of now should be in the championship game, but 2 years ago they couldn't even win their OWN division...it's certainly not their fault they got in ,but how does the bcs get taken seriously as a championship game when the participating teams don't even have to wina playoff game or a division .. it's just PUT THOSE GUYS IN THEY LOOK GOOD ON TV,,,,,,,, was it just my imagination that sorry louisville BOAT RACED mighty one loss sec team florida in a major bowl last year? the sec loses it's share of big games they just happen to have a nice winning streak going in the bcs game ,, don't let it go to your head ,,it don't make you any cuter , princess:)one last thing .. if the sec is so much better how did TEX a&m come in with big 12 recruits and drop 40 on everybody they have played in conference for 2 years ,,, and how did big 12 also ran MISSOURI TAKE OVER the sec east in their 2nd year in the conference?with big 12 recruits.... the answer is.......cause the sec is just another good conference on a hot streak in a big game....

what IN THE WORLD does the amount of teams in a conference have to do with who can beat who?is that some "we are superior cause the media(in bugtussell, ga, )says so? making fun of other teams doesn't make your conference better only you more silly...and that thing about half the sec beating ohio st ...may be true but the sec wont play em so it really is a silly point... nice try though , skippy,, better luck pickin' on cotton growers

Alabama did good yesterday. I look forward to a match against FSU - after of course FSU trashes gators.

Gators are not what they used to be. Vandy walked all over them. Maybe they will have better luck against Georgia Southern.

Youre argument regarding the "unfair" recruiting of talent in the SEC just collapsed on itself. But, what do I know, Im an ignorant hillbilly redneck cotton picker.

Haters gonna hate. RTR!
