Well when you consider the fact that he had a square foot, yes it was an advantage. Most kickers have to kick with the sides of their feet. He just had to kick straight on. A square has more surface area than the side of your foot. Do you think it's easier to hit a baseball with a round bat or a flat 2x4?
He was a career 61% kicker. His accuracy was crap. Don't sound like an advantage to me. As a kicker for the Saints he attempted 20 FGs over 50 yards and made only four.
