Boldin cant create separation and davis missed games. Youre trusting that boldin wins the one on one battles when the ball is in the air with tight coverage. Crabtree really opened things up but he missed most the season

Wilson wins games....kap hasnt gone to less then the nfc title games. hes won more games. One thing about the kid is hes a proven winner, even though i hate him.

Richard Sherman looked like a complete a-whole. He just keeps running his mouth.

I got a laugh out if his pro wrestling esque promo..the woman that tried to interview him too as she was like,"well, who was talking about you?"

The big game is set and the Seahawks will meet the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVII. So what do we have going in? The Broncos are favored by 1.5 in the opening line with the over/under set a 48. The betting line will change by game time.

Since this is going to be the first real football game (not the indoor football league) to decide the NFL in years I’m excited about the prospects. As and editorial note: I wish every Super Bowl was played at Lambeau Field. For the first time in years the weather may play a roll in the outcome of the game (the way the football gods intended it to be).

What I see early, Seattle has a great defense, offensively they have a great ground (running) game with a good passing game. The Broncos have a great passing game a better than average running game and a solid defense. So is it fair to say Seattle uses the passing game to set up the run while Denver uses the running game to set up the pass? Maybe, but both teams have solid offensive weapons with stingy defenses. This looks on the surface like the classic boxer vs puncher match up. A boxer with a good punch and puncher with speed and movement.
Bottom line, nice weather minimum wind, I give the edge to the Broncos. Cold weather, windy frozen conditions I give the edge to the Seahawks. As far as the line goes we’ll have to wait until it gets closer to see how the betting affect its and where it settles. Same with the over/under I think the weather forecast will affect this. Lately the weather around here has been unpredictable at best. A week of cold/snowy that doesn’t go above 20 and a week of warm sometimes rainy that doesn’t go below 30. With a couple of days anywhere in between thrown in.

I was 0-2 against the spread and 2-0 stright up. I'll post my pick next week.

BTW on 7-21-13 page#2 post 17, I predicted Seattle would be in the SB. Just saying.................

I'll second this. every good college QB that I was aware of fizzled in the Pros. Likewise every great Pro QB I never heard of in College(Note: I am fairly weak in my college)

Cam newton? Andrew luck? RG3? most of the recent big name college QBs have come in pro ready. Manzel wont fizzle because hes actually hungry and a hard worker unlike many of the busts. Natural instincts/talent plus hard worker usually works out.

Never heard of them while they were in College(again my knowledge of college is weak)I heard of McCoy, Telbow and a few others... even a few others players(What was that running back for UT...Ricky something? Last I heard he was with the Saints a few years back)

I don’t follow college football so I rarely have any knowledge of players taken in the draft unless they’ve gained national notoriety. Even then I wait to see what impact if any they have at the professional level. Playing against business, accounting, law and biology majors is a world apart from the NFL. Some end up as great the majority end up as average roster fillers or a bust. Having said that just making it to the pros is an achievement in itself, what they do once they get there is another story. Some players thrive in one environment and fail in another. Too much information for me to process. I just go with what I see once they are there.

roflmao, wow man just wow. with the exception of tebow, all 3 of the guys i mentioned had better college careers and put up better numbers and were higher ranked then all 3 of the guys you've heard of. The reason you're hearing about manzel is he's the first freshmen EVER to win the heisman and then a bunch of haters hating because he got paid while in college for autograph. he's got a lil bit of richard sherman in him so people talk bad about him.

trust me, he's got big time talent though. Very russel wilson/doug flutie like. moves around in the pocket to buy time for his WRs to get open. Runs when he has to, accurate passer. heck, when i make our 2014-15 thread, i'm sure he'll be one of the bigger topics until the season starts

I want to agree. I see crazy potential in him. He has insane instincts and is a playmaker in every sense of the word. He just seems dainty and fragile. I just have visions of a Warren Sapp-esk defender breaking him in half...
