Yes, everyone was easly side tracked by that. I couldn't care less. I tried to stay focused on the big picture. This is going to be the best SB in years with the two best teams in the NFL squaring off tow to tow outside. How cool is that. I love old time smash mouth football, gringing it out in the trenches, not corperate events in domed stadiums. It's bad enough that most die hard fans can't even afford to attend the games. Football wasn't supposed to be watched from catered corperate boxes while sipping mamosas and eating shrimp cacktail. The only thing that would make it better was if the playing surface was natural grass, a little mud and dirt is a good thing. I like seeing players getting up with chunks of grass and sod stuck in their helmets................
Ugh, I find fields like that terrible. Say Heinz field. Since they let you get physical with the WRs for the first 5 yards and basically hand check them afterward as long as you look at the general direction of the ball when it arrives, I like them to at least be able to get off the line. I've seen games where they break and the grass moves and the WR doesn't lol.
Speaking of old school football, I dont like the rule that you only have to break the plane for a TD. I think you should have to get in with possession
