Yeah that was a strange game, Falcons dominated the Fins for three quarters in every stage of the game except the one that matters. At one point the time of pos. was 31minutes to 12 but only a 7 point lead to show for.

Thought most the FGs were the right decision, with the exception of the 20 yarder. You got 4th and less then a yard on the 2 yard line you should be going for it. Either you get a 1st and goal at the one or score a TD, at worse you give the ball to the Fins inside their own two. I mean c'mon youve got Tony Gonzales, right?

I agree that was a bad call on Smiths part.....but you have to admit that the Dolphins defense is stepping up when they really need to (kind of like KC's offense) not the best stats but still a win is a win. Im really impressed with what the Bills and Dolphins are doing (and glad theyre not in our division) this season, and it will be exciting to watch and see how they end up in the rankings.

Justin, no doubt he needs it but kinda cold how they did Aldon. Locker emptied out during the game. Brutal

Yeah that's brutal. I support the carpet yank 100%. Aldon Smith needs to get his life straight and an eye opener like that should (hopefully) let him know the franchise comes first and you best get on board... We need him on that line and he put his own choices above the team so guess what? You get what you give..

would doing it this morning when he came in today have been so bad? I mean DAMN. hope he comes back with a chip on his shoulder aiming in the right direction. Be sad if it backfires and he secretly hates harbaugh the duration of his contract

Fair enough. I also think there was a message to be sent to the league in it though. I don't disagree before the game or this morning would have been better for him personally but if the front office wants to make a statement I support the brass's decision on it. If this were his first offense I would be agree more with what you are saying but considering this has happened multiple times, something more harsh needed be done.

Pretty good week for me:

Cowboys won, Saints won, Seahawks won

49ners lost,Giants lost,Redskins lost, Eagles lost.

Bad part

Steelers lost, Arizona lost, Texans lost

Ravens won

I don't know if this was mentioned in the last 557 posts but has anyone noticed more of a conference mix this season?

Seems like before you would only see one or two cross overs for the whole season, now there has been at least one every week

The fact that we don't go to Julio in the red zone kills me. I hate how Coach Smith shrivels up when we get into the Red Zone. I'm fine with FG's but at lease be have that killer mentality when we get down there. Going back to the NFC Champ game this is the 4th game in a row were we gave up a double digit lead.

Seattle playoff game too. Plus 8 different games last season not counting the playoffs. The still won most of them, but it's darn frustrating.

he should transfer to seattle or denver where you know what is legal....now you just gotta get the team to relax their rules. or is it league rules that prohibits it?

I have zero tolerance for athletes who drink and drive though. you've got all the money in the world and most teams provide drivers/cars for situations like this. the league needs to take a hard line approach on it and stop leaving it in the hands of teams. Drinking and driving should not be tolerable under any circumstances. For you and I it's a calculated gamble where our life can go spiraling out of control if caught. For them, it's a risk worth taking because the fine means nothing and after a few days of public shaming, it gets swept under the rug.

EVERY team has a driving service available. It's a league rule. I'm glad they did what they did. I'm tired of seeing these overpaid superstars acting irresponsible. Grow up and be a man. You have everything most people would die to have and you're gonna throw it away for a couple of drinks?

Don't most of them go out with friends? You think one of them would step up or say something. Heck, if I had that money I'd pay a friend to be the DD each time I went out.
