I love hearing the butthurt Seattle fans all week. Been rocking my jerseys all week shopping and loving every minute of it. So tired of listening to them.. thanks Bowman for sending out Candlestick with pride.

What's confusing? Its the same thing. Say the 49ers are favored by 12 this weekend. Instead of saying 12+ to the underdog (is it az they play? Im to drunk to look it up) you could say 49ers -12, you arrive at the same score at the end once you apply the spread.

In short, you add the spread to the underdog or subtract it from the favored

Got it thanks. It just seems like one would always go with a positive number but I've had a few milks myself lol..

While I don't like a loss, this one was well timed. They were playing complacent lately and not playing all that great. Young team, I hope a loss at home kicks their collective arse into gear.
 
I did not win the San Fran game they only bet the Falcons by 10 pts. (34 to 24) They would have had to bet them by 13 pts for me to have won. Whatever the Falcons scored +12.5 points. 24 + 12.5= 36.5 so the 9ers would have had to score 37 pts for me to have won. When you say San Fran -12.5 it means whatever the 49ers final score is -12.5 points has to be greater than the Falcons final score.

Being up in the Seattle area for Christmas everyone is excited that Dallas pulled Jon Kitna out of retirement for this week. He's now a math teacher in Tacoma, and will donate his paycheck to the school (something like $53k for the week).

What if they win? They gonna keep him through their short playoff run? That's a good reason for a substitute math teacher! "My real teacher is back up qb for the Dallas Cowboys, they're in the playoffs. No big deal."

I personally think its a great thing, to donate his pay to the school is a class act all the way. Good on him.
