The only reason the Celtics won is because the Knicks fell flat and got to confident. I doubt they make that same mistake again. Maybe it does go 6, but the Knicks are still coming out on top

No it's because the Knicks live and die by their jump shot. When the shots don't fall, they lose, plain and simple. That's why the pacers series will be so challenging for them, the pacers play amazing defense, and are ver efficient on offense, so they won't fall into a rut like the celtics did so often.

I think if kg will retire. Possibly trade peirce. And if peirce gets traded and kg retires i think doc will stay one more year. Then if peirce gets traded and kg retires rondo sullinger and green could possibly have the potentiel to replace the big three if they play a couple of more seasons together and continue to get better. But whos knows how good they will play together. Rondo has to step up and score more if peirce gets traded. jeff green has a lot of potential as he matures. this year was a huge year for him. And dont foget about sullinger if he can get healthy and stay healthy he should be a real good player. Although this year there really wasnt a big 3 because rondo was out most off the season. More like a big 2 peirce and garnett. But who knows whats going to happen it should be interesting.

I don't think Sullinger can be trusted. His back is an enormous problem that's not getting better anytime soon.

But I'm really high on Jeff green. I think he has a lot of potential

Yea sullinger i deffinatley questionable but when peirce gets traded or retires i know jeff green is going to step up

I doubt they trade pierce purely on the fact that ainge wants top value and won't get it. Plus I'm not too sure if Garnett will retire.

It's not so easy to retool quickly.

Yes, sullinger and fab melo are the missing depth that would've come in handy that I'm referring to. You can't replace that size in a physical series

For the record, I think its easy to retool quickly in the NBA if you have a plan. All these super teams came together including Boston's big 4 practically overnight. Bean town will rise again
 
Been a celtics fan since Bird. I swear to God if they trade Pierce I'm boycotting them for life. I refuse to be loyal to someone who is loyal to no one. Pierce deserves to retire in green. He has never played for another team and shouldn't. With that being said I think him and KG should bow out gracefully.
