Heard Newton was released from the hospital already. I also heard the damage was somewhat minor however I doubt he will play the rest of the season.(to be on the safe side).

Here found this

Newton arrived at BOA early Thursday morning to begin rehabbing from the wreck that left him with two small fractures in his lower back. The injuries are similar to what Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered earlier this year. Romo missed one start.

I was about to say it's same exact injury romo suffered but glad I read all the way through the thread.

He can play with painkiller and they're in a tight division race. I can see him skipping this weekend and playing the rest

cards and rams tonight, we see if the cards really cooked for the season and if the rams are playing as good as it seems they are. esp there DEF. if so going to be a long night for the cards. I have rams picked to win.

I took Arazona -3.5

interesting so far. 3-6 cards. i am surprised by the lack of sacks, tho i think his knee was down.

so, he tries to pick the flag back up. to late refs saw it, refs say throwing a flag inappropriately and charge with a time out. then? is reviewed any ways? and reversed. :WTF:

All scores and turn overs are reviewed automatically, so yes he got dinged for throwing it. Same thing happens under two minutes.

Remember when my lions lost over that bs? It use to cancel the review. Glad they changed that rule.

Yeah, that's just wrong. Dinging a couch a time out falls under clock management so I don't mind it as much.

so, penalized for throwing the flag out, not up on my challenge flag thing it seems. strikes me as a pick that thing up you dumb nut. sure you a head coach? one score game.
