We're putting salary into the mix for MVP now? Good lord, let's give Russell credit for the Seahawks having a great run game and an insane defense.....hes a great fit for the team but you don't become MVP just by being a big clog on a great team. You need to have superior stats or overachieve. Hes not doing either so far

Yes it's most valuable player award. Pay is just another thing to consider other than his record against the Champions and current MVP'S. He'll get an mvp before his career is over. I don't think he deserves much credit for them having an insane defense however, although I'm sure he helps pump them up.

Hawks really making bad decisions and executing poorly right now. Lots of penalties. Not playing like they deserve a W right now

Your salary is not a measurable criteria in MVP voting, i assure you. I just find this to be a crazy excuse for why someone deserves MVP. Not saying Russell cant be MVP, just not because hes on his rookie contract. Otherwise Alfred Morris was MVP 2 years ago.

You're correct. so don't consider pay, just wins and Undefeated against Brady, Brees, Rodgers and the Mannings and Superbowl this early in his career. His team is too balanced for him to rack up the same stats.

LOL! just be glad your a fan of THAT Washington team. Wilson is great.He won the job as a rookie(as I predicted)over a guy they spent a lot on to bring in.He had one of the best qb rankings ever in college so it really should not surprise anyone how good he is.

Second in rushing rg3 break out season when the person who took first almost broke the rushing record...Morris was making pennies compared to manning and Peterson that year. Remember in this hypothetical scenario salary is considered. Boy would voting be skewed

Wilson got those runs because my grand mother who is dead could have ran through those holes. redskins tightened up, finally. keep in mind WA had the 6th ranked defense last year. if not for WA Offence being limited with the new QB change they might have won that game. I think cousins did good job, he did not do anything to lose the game, he is just lacking a full play book to work from, this will change as the season goes on. RG needs to stay in the whirle pool and let him take the team this season. seattle has some issues, like penalties to deal with, A great team going to fig them out and its only going to get tuffer for Seattle.
