Official 2014/2015 NFL Discussion Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this will let Seattle get back to what got them to the super bowl, running, and setting up the play action. percy an explosive player, given the ball in open space he is amazing, but he is not a good Wide out. and is an OK running back type player off the wing.

What are you even watching the game? Harvin is CLEARLY the #1 WR on that team with a QB that is already struggling with the pass game. I wager hes better then anything that river has right now. I also believe hes second in rushing attempts on the team? They weren't even working the other RBs, half of the rushes for back ups went to harvin. This is a big blow to the offense. No Tate, rice or harvin!

I'm with you diesel, i feel like my favorite pet just died

I watched the game, I do not think he is a precision rout runner, he is a mediocre WR at best IMHO, but that's my opinion, seattle has a running back, that's lynches job. and he raising a stink in the locker room. I agree. gone. see yu would not want to be yu.

Gone is their Super Bowl chance this year. RIP repeat

IMO route running is overrated in that offense as half the completed passes are broken plays as Russell waits forever to throw the ball

Just read Harvins only been targeted 4 times all year on passes that went 10 yards in the air. Sounds like shotty play calling and a crummy passing game as they feed him screens, short passes, reverses and a bunch of running plays for 5 games. he was literally the only other guy involved in the offense lol

Was at work when I heard the news ... at first pure shock. But then you think about it, and I do fall into the camp of not using him right. And no, I'm not just trying to justify it. His jet sweeps were not just taking away touches from the other running backs, but also Lynch as well. In Minnesota he was a credible deep ball threat, but the only time the Hawks seem to throw it to him was in bubble screens.

Not saying they shouldn't do the jet sweeps and bubble screens, but I thought they were doing them too much at the expense of the mid to deep pass game and Lynch, and Lynch needs to touch the ball. They are some crazy number of wins when he touches the ball over 17 times vs not winning when they don't (Both losses this year were less than 17 carries). I can't remember the exact numbers, heard them on the radio the day after the loss.

I reserve the right to be crushed until I can see what they do against St. Louis. Going back to the type of offense they used last year wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

Its unreal how they weren't throwing him the ball downfield unless theres a penalty. Great job burying him where he won't effect the playoffs though lol

Still feel like we got robbed of seeing what he was gonna do with a full season. I remember exactly why Minnesota traded him, its kinda sad if they couldn't figure out how to corral him knowing his history. I hope when he gets cut next year he signs with a brilliant offense coordinator

I not want him. he a locker room/team distraction. he can go be famous some where else.

its kinda of funny, like you Seattle folks not remember last year, all of a sudden its the percy show, with out him we screwed and might as well kiss the season good by. sell our season tickets. its over. the percy harven show is over.

have some faith man, Carol a great coach, Wilson a great QB, lynch a great RB, Seattle a good dam team, they took you to the SB and won it, you may not repeat but that not mean you not have a chance.
