Good luck

So pops, do the hawks need to trade lynch for his halftime stunt now? Too tired to join his teammates in the locker room? I'm surprised Pete even played him in the second half. Does that mean he endorses such a move?

I think it's being overblown. He was being worked on on the sidelines, probably just didn't want to go into the warm air and loosen up then come back into the cold and immediately tighten up again. He definitely didn't show any lack of effort in the second half.

Hmmm idk man idk. I've never questioned his heart and passion for the game but that dont mean hes not going out of his way to let his discomfort with his contract situation and harvin trade be known. I've never heard of someone saying "i was too fatigued" to go to the locker room when he could've said "i was with the trainers/team doctors being worked on".

He can jibber jabber all he wants, I don't care. He was still beastly on the field. Until he starts throwing punches like Harvin, I saw he's earned his leeway in my eyes. Apparently Amhad Brooks sat himself out of the game because he didn't like his playing time. That would be far worse I'd think.

Ha, i dont think SF cares as much about chemistry as pete Carroll is trying to pretend. No doubt pulling a harvin (refusing to go into a game) is bad but so is distancing yourself from your team

Ps, i think he should act up all he wants lol. Not the route id go as i KNOW im auditioning for a big contract elsewhere. Pops has just been overly pro team chemistry over all else so im wondering his take

I'd but into it more if he was just sitting there. The fact he was laid out and getting worked on (as shown in the broadcast) makes me less worried. I imagine the 'fatigued' bit was just a shot at the upper brass.

Receiving treatment would be fine if he CLEARED it with the coaches/trainers. Sure sounds like he bullishly did it. I have no doubt the man was making a statement as you just said.

What do you do with that on a team full of young players who are watching this?

You lie if you're Carrol. Say it was cleared. I just think the press is blowing it out of proportion the same way they did his holdout. People that follow the 'hawks closely knows he does next to nothing in training camp anyway because of his back spasms, has hasn't for years while here. So it just wasn't as big a deal as they made it out to be. Note I'm not worried yet, but if things escalate that's a whole new ballgame.

He's done contrary things every year, it's just magnified after the Superbowl and him saying he wants more cash money.
