An ugly win

Definitely some questionable officiating
The call against Dallas hitting the punter when in fact the punter fell down on the Dallas guy. Then later the Lions guy clearly ran into the Dallas punter and there was no call. Then a no call when the Lions guy hit the punt returner after a fair catch. Then the last one of pass interference against the Lions that was picked up.

This game is making me sick...oh, wait. I was sick before the game... never mind.

Dallas sure isn't impressing me. Seems the refs are calling in favor for the Lions.

How can you say that? Suh is a dirty player and has no business on the field.

Why does he need to be suspended for something that happen in regular season? It should've rolled over to next year. NFL even agreed, that's why they fined him instead of letting it impact the playoffs. Plus there's a 23 game rollover period for considering prior acts. This was beyond his bad act, 24 games ago.

Anyways, f the refs. I've been beefing on this all year. You cannot unsee a penalty. They should not be allowed to THROW a flag and then pick it up. If you didn't see anything, why the fudge are you throwing a flag in the first place? You saw something, live with the results. It's complete crap to let them pick flags up

Ps, lion player was blocked into the kicker. That's why a no call

He should be punished in the very next game he plays...in which case today. By being allowed to play today it sends a message that it's ok to act this way. Had it been drugs or something along the lines of murder you know he would have been suspended for today's game.

I disagree with regular season penalty extending into post season. An illegal hit that injures someone doesn't even get you suspended. Yet you want him out a game for stepping an Rodgers ankle?

Just like if he severely injured Rodger's ankle it would have magically not affected him in the playoffs. But then game 1 next season it would begin Hurting again? That is some interesting logic. And to answer your question, typically an illegal hit isn't accompanied by a suspension. But for a serial offender it is a different story. Either way the lions got screwed. Refs served up a big glass of PI Karma

You penalize accordingly, quit acting like there's a black and white rule book here. Like i said, I illegally hit someone and give em a concussion and he's out 1-4 weeks, I still play. What's stepping on someone's ankle compared to an illegal hit that causes an injury?

Had Rodgers been injured id say gone instantly. I also think concussion causing illegal hits should be graded according to the extent of the injury. Just like speeding 15 mph over speed limit isn't the same punishment as 30 over speed limit? Are you in the speeding is speeding class or are you ok with tickets varying? I bet the later. I'm the same way with suspensions.

On a diff note, I saw a break down of the pass interference and there was apparently 4 penalties. Defensive holding when hitchen grabbed pettigrews arm, face mask by pettigrews, defensive pass interference when hitchen didn't play the ball and ran over pettigrews who's making a play on the ball and then dez Bryant on the field without a helmet lobbying. Seriously wtf? Even if just the 2 offsetting penalties had been called you're replaying the down with 3&1. Then you let that baby dez come on the field and make it seem like he influenced you WITHOUT A penalty? An entire minute went by from the time he announced pass interference, they mark it on the field and then change their mind. One whole minute. Def changed the momentum of everything that happen at the time
