That's debatable, especially in a tied game. Common sense says elevated talent would make a difference in a tied contest?
 
I do not argue that, but as stated folks saying we can not win football games with out him is poppycock. Offence needs to win the game by scoring, 3 and outs not going to get that done. controlling the ball is only good if you score and thats the best way to win a game. if you are counting on your defense to win a football game then you going to lose most of the time.
