Big trade for the Seahawks. I'm really happy they got rid of Jermaine Kearse. He's always top of the league in offensive PI calls the last few years. He also dropped some crucial balls in losses last season. To get Sheldon Richardson for the WR2/3 fading rapidly into a WR4 that is overpaid is a major move. This could potentially resurrect a defense worthy of perhaps the shadow of the name "Legion of boom."

I think the 49s have a shot now that the distractions have been removed from the lockeroom and personnel. They've made some major coaching changes and I'm actually looking forward to playing the Rams and Cards more than the 49ers in the division.

JK47 JK47 do you make it down to the bay area for any games? Or catch them at the Clink in Seattle?

Anyone heard from Aquanero lately?.....he was pretty active in the older football threads.

I've thought that many times over the last few months. Especially while cruising the disease/sick fish forum where he helped everyone so much.

I hope he is well. He was a good guy....despite being a Giants fan ;)

Yeah the changes have been excellent so far. We still have a ways to go and a lot of young talent. It's nice to have a GM/HC combo I'm excited about and know is around for a while. John Lynch is putting together a stellar defense and Kyle is an offensive minded stud.

I've been to the clink. It's an experience to say the least. I haven't made it to Santa Clara yet but may be able to catch a game this year. I'm in the area for work every so often. I was surprised to see the Kearse deal today but it make sense.

Candlestick was great, Santa Clara is a monstrous facility and really nice, fresh. I also work near there from time to time. All the niners need is a 4 game win streak and that place will be packed and rowdy
