A few better pictures.
Let me know what you Think about the two.
I can live with a negativ Feedback.
Looking much better in the last shots Malte81 (and shows how important lighting is for taking good pix). If you'd like other feedback, I'd say that while I kinda doubt either will do too much if anything in the way of 6th level crossing, I'll also say that it really doesn't matter super much, they'll still be great looking fish. I'll also reckon that you didn't pay 6th level prices, so no surprises, you get what you pay for but you still got some lovely fish.

In fact though I'm more curious as to how they get along? Any conflict or one seeking domination over the other, or are they pretty chill?

You are right the price was not very expensive.
Its not that easy in germany to get good quality arowana for a good price.
Mostly wtt babys where you don't know how they will look once in your tank.
I got three Aros from a friend where his red went rampage at them.
One i had to seperate but the other two are fine together .
No ripped fins as you can see.
The highback is more on the dominant side.
The crossback is pretty chill but has a lot of body mass so he can stand his ground.
I would be happy with a full 5 Level shine for the highback.
The crossback should normaly get a higher Level but at the moment it looks like the highback will reach a higher level.
Weird for me.
They are now about 35cm i am curious how much they will improve when they grow to 45cm.

Malaysian BBXB waiting for dinner, she's about 15.5" now...

BBXB 14 Nov 2019.jpg

Overall she's more chill and for sure a slower grower than the GHXB, which is closer to 17.5" now (not surprising, he is much more active and territorial, with a more robust appetite to match). When I first got them nearly a year ago the BBXB was about 1" longer.
